Getting started
What does DropVoice do?
DropVoice lets you record a short voice note and place it on your Shopify storefront — on product pages, at checkout, on the post-purchase thank-you page, and in a delivery SMS — so shoppers hear the real people behind your brand.
How long does setup take?
Most stores are live in a few minutes. You record or upload a note in the dashboard, map it to a product, and drop the DropVoice app block onto your theme. No code or developer is required.
Can I match the player to my brand?
Yes. In Settings you can set the accent colour, the play-button icon, and the player style (card, bar, or floating), and preview changes live. You can also choose which surfaces the note appears on — product page, checkout, post-purchase, and delivery SMS.
Which browsers and devices are supported?
The player works in current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, on both desktop and mobile.
Pricing & trial
How much does DropVoice cost?
Two plans: Winning Plan at $25/month ($250/year) and Major Success at $55/month ($575/year). Every plan includes a 15-day free trial and is billed through Shopify in USD.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — 15 days on every plan. Billing is handled by Shopify, and you can cancel any time before the trial ends without being charged.
What happens if I uninstall?
Removing the app stops the voice notes from showing and ends billing through Shopify. You can request deletion of your data any time by emailing team@920four.com.
How it works
How do the listen-to-unlock coupons work?
You set a listen threshold. When a shopper listens far enough, DropVoice issues a real Shopify discount code and applies it to their cart automatically — no copy/paste. The listen is verified server-side, so the reward can only be unlocked by actually listening. Your analytics show how many coupons were unlocked and how many led to orders.
What analytics do I get?
A conversion funnel — plays, completions, coupons unlocked, and the orders that follow — plus attribution so you can see which voice notes are driving purchases, all in your dashboard.
Will DropVoice slow down my store?
The player is a lightweight theme block that loads asynchronously, and audio only downloads when a shopper presses play. It is designed to have minimal impact on page load.
SMS & privacy
How does the SMS feature work?
DropVoice can send an order or delivery text on your behalf to customers who have opted in to SMS, delivered through Twilio. Recipients can opt out any time by replying STOP. See our SMS Terms for the full details, message frequency, and rates.
How is my customers' data handled?
Customer personal data is minimized and hashed where possible, Shopify’s mandatory GDPR/CCPA privacy webhooks are wired in, and we do not sell personal information. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
Is DropVoice on the Shopify App Store?
Yes — you can install it directly from the Shopify App Store at apps.shopify.com/drop-voice. Billing and permissions are handled by Shopify.
