SMS Terms & Opt-In Consent

These SMS Terms describe the DropVoice text-messaging program, how consumers consent to receive messages, and how to stop receiving them. DropVoice is a service operated by 920Four LLC (“DropVoice,” “we,” “us”). Questions? team@920four.com.

920Four LLC provides the DropVoice messaging service on behalf of the online stores (“merchants”) that use the app. Order and delivery texts are sent to a merchant’s own customers who have opted in at that merchant’s store.
Program description
DropVoice Order & Delivery Notifications. DropVoice is a Shopify app used by online stores (“merchants”) to send transactional order and delivery updates to their customers. These SMS messages may include a link to a short, personal voice message recorded by the merchant (for example, a thank-you or an update about your order).
How consent is collected
Consumers opt in to receive these messages at the participating merchant’s online store through an unchecked opt-in checkbox presented during checkout or account sign-up. The consumer enters their own mobile number and must actively check the box to agree — it is never pre-selected, and agreeing is not required to buy. The consent language presented to the consumer reads substantially as follows:

The checkbox is not pre-selected. Consent is not a condition of purchase — consumers may complete a purchase without opting in to text messages. “[Store Name]” is replaced with the specific merchant store the consumer is buying from.
Types of messages you may receive
- Order confirmation and status updates
- Shipping and fulfillment notifications (shipped, out for delivery, delivered)
- A link to an optional personal voice message from the merchant about your order
Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your order and delivery activity. You may receive one or more messages per order.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. DropVoice does not charge consumers for messages; however, your mobile carrier’s standard message and data rates may apply.
How to opt out
You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you sendSTOP, we will send a one-time confirmation and you will stop receiving messages. To opt back in, reply START.

Carriers
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change without notice.
Privacy
Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information or share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Mobile phone numbers are used solely to deliver the messages described above.
