This Privacy Policy explains how DropVoice, operated by 920Four (“DropVoice,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, and shares information when merchants use the DropVoice Shopify app and when their customers interact with the features DropVoice powers. Contact us at team@920four.com.

Information we collect

From merchants

Store identity and contact details (shop domain, email) via Shopify.
Store data accessed through Shopify APIs to provide the service — products, orders, and fulfillment events.
Voice notes and settings you create in the app.

From merchants’ customers (end consumers)

Mobile phone number, when a consumer opts in to receive order and delivery text notifications (see our SMS Terms).
Interaction events with voice notes (for example, that a voice note was played or completed) used to produce anonymized, aggregate analytics for the merchant.

How we use information

To provide, operate, and improve the DropVoice service.
To send transactional order and delivery notifications on behalf of merchants to consumers who have opted in.
To produce conversion and attribution analytics for merchants.
To provide support and respond to requests.
To comply with legal obligations.

Text messaging

Mobile phone numbers collected for SMS are used solely to deliver the order and delivery notifications described in our SMS Terms. We do not sell phone numbers, and we do not share them with third parties for those third parties’ own marketing. Consumers can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us operate DropVoice:

Shopify — the platform merchants use to run their stores.
Twilio — our telecommunications provider used to deliver SMS messages.
Hosting & infrastructure — cloud providers that host the application and store data.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell personal information.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it. Merchants may request deletion of their data at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information. Consumer data requests submitted through Shopify are honored via Shopify’s mandatory privacy webhooks. To exercise your rights, contact team@920four.com.

Security

We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

Children

DropVoice is not directed to individuals under the age of 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
